UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital is recruiting runners and donors for the San Francisco Marathon on Sunday, June 16 with the goal of raising $15,000 to help provide medical services for sick and injured children.
Runners who join Team UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital will receive a hospital tote bag. Other incentive gifts are:
To join the team, follow the steps below:
Step 1 — Register for the race at www.thesfmarathon.com.
Step 2 — Go to the Team UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital page at www.crowdrise.com/UCSFBenioffChildrensHospital. Click on "The Team," then "Join the Team" and create a "Crowdrise" account, if you don't already have one. Create your own fundraising page.
Step 3 — Share your page with family and friends and invite them to support you. Use email, Facebook and Twitter to spread the word.
You don’t have to run to support Team UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. Click the "Donate to this Fundraiser" on www.crowdrise.com/UCSFBenioffChildrensHospital to make a donation.
The San Francisco Marathon and Crowdrise require a 15 percent transaction fee that's deducted from each donation. To give directly to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, visit http://makeagift.ucsf.edu/childrensfund.
