Social worker
Rosa M. Solorzano is a social worker who cares for children receiving liver transplants, providing psychosocial support and advocacy to patients as well as their families throughout the process. She serves as the chief social worker in the pediatric social work department, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible experience and outcome for each patient. Recognizing the rich diversity of the Bay Area, she incorporates frameworks of cultural humility and trauma-informed care into her practice.
Solorzano earned a master's degree in social welfare at the University of California, Berkeley. She is fluent in Spanish.
