Karen Bagatelos is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients with stomach and intestinal conditions, in both the clinic and the hospital. She has a particular interest in preventive health.
Bagatelos participates in research involving the pancreas and biliary system, which includes the liver, gallbladder and bile ducts.
Bagatelos earned her master of science degree in nursing at the University of San Francisco, where she also completed the programs to become a family nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist in gastroenterology.
In her free time, Bagatelos enjoys gardening, photography, travel and time with her dog.
