Anisha I. Patel



Dr. Anisha I. Patel is a pediatrician with a particular interest in preventing chronic disease as part of her patient care. In her research, her focus is on childhood obesity and chronic disease prevention.

Patel earned her medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed a residency in pediatrics at Stanford Hospital, a fellowship in the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars Program at UCLA and a postdoctoral fellowship in the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies at UCSF. She earned a master of science in public health degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Patel is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Academic Pediatric Association, and has co-authored several professional journal articles.
