Anita Sharma is a pediatric nurse practitioner who cares for children with cancers of the brain and spinal cord, whether they are hospitalized or receiving outpatient treatment. She orders imaging tests, medications and referrals, and helps coordinate care from other specialties.
Sharma earned bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from California State University, Fresno. Her previous work experience was in primary care and gastroenterology.
Sharma was born in New York and grew up in California's Central Valley. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, painting, trying new recipes, and spending time with her family, which includes her Maltese, Sammy, and bunny, Max.
