Dr. Patrika M. Tsai is a specialist in pediatric gastroenterology, nutrition and obesity. She has a research interest in hormonal changes that occur in childhood obesity and their effects on appetite.

Tsai earned her medical degree at the University of Tennessee and completed a residency in pediatrics at Emory University. She completed a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at Boston Children's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, affiliates of Harvard Medical School. She also earned a master of public health degree at Harvard University.
