Desired Outcomes

At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to:

1. Describe the evidence for triptan use in treatment of acute migraine in children and adolescents

2. Differentiate migraine aura from other transient focal neurologic symptoms in children and adolescents

3. Manage pediatric and adolescent migraines appropriately

4. Utilize certified interpreters and/or the Language Line to communicate with limited- and non-English speaking patients, in order to properly assess headache symptoms

5. Describe the evidence for triptan use in treatment of acute migraine in children and adolescents
