UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital are hosting an open house on Thursday, Oct. 25 to preview patient rooms under construction at the Mission Bay hospital complex.
The open house of mocked-up hospital rooms will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cardiovascular Research Institute, 555 Mission Bay Blvd. South in San Francisco.
With 289 beds under construction for the children's, women's specialty and cancer hospitals, the medical center designed state-of-the-art hospital rooms and then created mock ups of the rooms to ensure the design ideas were optimal for patient care and safety
