The UCSF Hemophilia Treatment Center is sponsoring a free symposium about "Living Well With a Bleeding Disorder" on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center, 1675 Owens St., San Francisco.
The symposium is free and open to the public. It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and includes breakfast and lunch as well as parking.
Participants will learn about strategies to maintain a healthy life including bone health, cardiovascular health, fitness and exercise, and weight loss, and will be asked to complete a pre- and post-test. Spanish interpretation will be available.
