Michael Kuzniewicz, MD

Neonatologist

Dr. Michael Kuzniewicz is a neonatologist at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. His research focuses on the efficacy of phototherapy in hyperbilirubinemia, predicting the need for prolonged ventilation in infants with respiratory distress, and improving performance reporting for intensive care nurseries.

Kuzniewicz is an assistant adjunct professor in Neonatology. He earned a medical degree at Northwestern University and a master's degree in public health at Johns Hopkins. He completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at Washington University / St. Louis Children's Hospital and completed a fellowship in neonatology at UCSF.
