Social worker

Mark Claycomb is a pediatric social worker in the Cancer and Blood Disease Program of UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. He provides emotional support to patients, while undergoing treatment in the hospital, and their families and helps them access hospital resources.

Claycomb earned a master's degree in social work at the University of California, Berkeley and is a licensed clinical social worker. He is a member of the Association of Pediatric Oncology Social Workers, National Association of Social Workers and San Francisco Bay Area Cognitive Therapists.
