The UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Summit location is a specialty medical campus less than 2 miles from the Oakland main hospital. It's equipped with state-of-the-art technology and serves up to 53 hospital patients.
Every patient has a private room with a toilet, and many rooms offer expansive views to create a quiet and healing environment. A sleep chair-bed, pillow and blanket are provided to allow one parent or guardian to spend the night in their child's room. Summit also houses a pharmacy, a classroom and playroom, and a waiting room for families.
Parking
The entrance to the parking garage is on Summit Street across from the entrance to the Summit Campus. You can pay hourly or daily for parking, or buy a three-day pass from the kiosk.
