Angelique Champeau, PNP, MSN

Pediatric nurse practitioner

Angelique Champeau is a pediatric nurse practitioner whose focus is caring for children with urological conditions. She founded the UCSF Children's Continence Clinic, where she developed a procedure for treating urinary incontinence in otherwise healthy children. She has particular interests in treating incontinence complicated by birth defects – such as posterior urethral valves, bladder exstrophy, prune belly syndrome and neurogenic bladder – as well as in the urological evaluation of children in need of a kidney transplant.

Champeau teaches and participates in research. She has presented at urology conferences worldwide. She is a member and has held board positions as a nurse specialist in the urology section of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Champeau earned a bachelor's degree in nursing at San Francisco State University and a master's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Nursing.
