Amanda Valceschini, LCSW, MSW

Pediatric clinical social worker

Amanda Valceschini is a licensed clinical social worker who primarily cares for pediatric patients in the emergency department. She provides patients and their families with psychosocial assessments, support, resources and referrals.

Valceschini is the coordinator of the Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect committee at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. She has a particular interest in working with patients affected by child abuse and other forms of violence.

Valceschini earned her bachelor's degree in psychology as well as her master's degree in social work, with a specialization in mental health, at San Diego State University. She has been working at UCSF since 2001.
