Dr. Christiana Tai is a pediatric and fetal cardiologist who cares for patients with heart disease, supporting them from before birth through childhood and into young adulthood. She sees patients in both the clinic and the hospital. Additionally, she provides imaging services to guide cardiothoracic surgeons and interventional cardiologists performing invasive and minimally invasive procedures. Her special interests include prenatal counseling, addressing health disparities, preventive cardiology and outreach medicine (methods of providing health care to underserved areas or populations).

Tai earned her medical degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where she also earned a master’s degree in public health. At UCSF, she completed a residency in pediatrics and fellowships in pediatric oncology, fetal imaging and preventive cardiology, and advanced imaging.
