Important Notice for Parents

Please note that Children's Urgent Care at 505 Parnassus Ave. has closed. If your child has an urgent medical need outside of normal office hours, UCSF offers the following options:

Acute Care After Hours

Acute Care After Hours serves children with minor illnesses that require prompt attention. It is open Monday to Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m., and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. To use Acute Care After Hours, your child must have a UCSF pediatrician or primary care doctor at one of the following practices:

Appointments are required. To make an appointment, please call your child's primary care provider's office.

Children's Emergency

Children's Emergency treats children 24 hours a day, every day, for any illness or injury that is concerning you. Your child does not need to be a UCSF patient to visit Children's Emergency.

Please note that Children's Emergency has moved to our new Mission Bay campus. The new address is:

Children's Emergency offers online appointments for minor medical needs.
