UC Imaging Center

Radiology is a specialty that uses imaging techniques, such as X-rays and ultrasound, to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions. UCSF offers radiology services at several different locations, including the UC Imaging Center, or UCIC. Services provided at this location include magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT or CAT Scan).

To get to the UCIC, you can take the main elevators between 400 Parnassus Avenue (the Ambulatory Care Center) and 500 Parnassus Avenue (Millberry Union) down to C level, or you can enter the building on Irving Street, directly in front of the N Judah streetcar stop.

If you have any metal in your body from past surgeries or accidents, please call the UCIC before your appointment to let them know.
