Teen Clinic

The UCSF Teen Clinic provides primary and specialty care for teens and young adults ages 11 to 21. We are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our patients. Our staff includes doctors who are board certified in adolescent medicine, as well as nurses, nutritionists, psychiatrists, psychologists, learning specialists and social workers.

The services we provide include:

  • General health care
  • Family planning, sexuality, pregnancy and general adolescent gynecological care
  • Sexually transmitted disease diagnosis and treatment
  • Colposcopic examination and treatment
  • Evaluation and counseling for behavior, family and school problems
  • Substance use and abuse management
  • Eating disorders treatment
  • Sports medicine
  • Chronic disease management
  • Health care for special populations such as gay youth, teens placed outside the home and runaways
