General Genetics Clinic

The Pediatric General Genetics Clinic evaluates children and adults who are at risk for, or suspected to have a genetic syndrome or a disorder with a genetic component. Many of our patients have congenital anomalies or developmental delays.

You'll need a referral from your child's pediatrician or specialist to make an appointment. Once you have the referral, please call the number below.

Hours: Tuesday and Thursday mornings (except first Tuesday of the month which is an all-day clinic)

What to Bring

  • Health insurance information including authorizations or referrals
  • List of your child's prescription medications and dosages
  • List of medications your child is allergic to
  • List of questions you may have
  • Recent test results related to your child's condition
  • Paper and pencil to take notes

What to Expect

    During your child's first visit, your child will meet with one of our experts who will conduct a thorough physical examination, inquire about symptoms and record your child's medical history.

    Lab tests, such as blood tests, and imagining tests, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or computerized tomography (CT) scans may also be conducted.
