Children with congenital anomalies, also known as birth defects, are living longer, healthier lives. As they grow and develop, many have special needs that require the expertise of neonatal and pediatric specialists. The UCSF Congenital Anomalies Follow-up Program is one of the first of its kind on the West Coast that provides comprehensive, long-term management and care to children with congenital anomalies, including the most complex conditions that require surgical correction.
The Pediatric Surgery Service at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital performs more than 1,000 operations annually, with referrals from throughout the United States. We work with experts in the UCSF Fetal Treatment Center, UCSF Prenatal Diagnosis Program and other pediatric specialties to manage patients from birth to adolescence. We offer a wide range of services, from fetal diagnosis and management to postnatal care.
You'll need a referral from your child's pediatrician or specialist to make an appointment. Once you have the referral, please call the number below.
