The UCSF Birthmark and Vascular Anomalies Center was founded in 1991 to provide care to patients with vascular growths such as hemangiomas, other vascular tumors and vascular malformations including venous, lymphatic, arteriovenous and mixed malformations. This includes Klippel Trenaunay Syndrome, lymphangioma, cavernous hemangioma, glomangioma and Proteus Syndrome.
We provide comprehensive evaluation and state of the art treatment. Many of our patients have incurable conditions; with these children, we try to address the most debilitating aspects of their condition. Available treatments include excisional surgery, laser surgery, embolization and sclerotherapy, anticoagulation therapy, as well as supportive measures such as compressive garments, lymphedema care and physical therapy.
You'll need a referral from your child's pediatrician or specialist to make an appointment. Once you have the referral, please call the number below.
