
Pediatric nurse practitioner
Christine Mudge is a pediatric nurse practitioner who specializes in the care of children and adolescents before and after liver transplants and small bowel transplants. Mudge has over 25 years experience working with transplant patients, including a commitment to provide family centered care, has earned countless awards, including the UCSF Outstanding Performance Award from the Department of Nursing, Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, Fellow of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, National Kidney Foundation Certificate of Appreciation and Diploma for Exceptional Merit, among others.
In addition to caring for patients, she is the study coordinator of a National Institutes of Health (NIH) clinical research study investigating aspects of pediatric liver transplants. She is alo a member of numerous professional organizations. Mudge earned her nursing degree, graduate nursing degree with a nephrology and transplant specialty and pediatric nurse practitioner certification at UCSF's School of Nursing.
